What it is
You have a list: leads who enquired and went quiet, customers due a renewal, patients who missed an appointment, people who abandoned a booking. Outreach automation calls or messages every one of them, has the conversation you scripted, and reports back per contact.
The useful version is not a robocall. A robocall plays a recording at whoever picks up. Outreach automation with an AI voice agent listens, answers the question the person actually asked, and books or captures the outcome — then hands you a transcript so you can read what was said rather than guess from a status code.
Outreach automation vs a dialler vs a robocall
| Robocall | Power dialler + agents | AI outreach automation | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who talks | A recording | Your staff | An AI that listens and responds |
| Handles a question | No | Yes | Yes, from information you provided |
| Cost per attempt | Very low | Staff time | Per connected minute |
| Record of the call | Rarely | Sometimes | Transcript, QA score, recording |
| Scales overnight | Yes | No | Yes, within lawful calling hours |
What separates a good implementation from a bad one
- It personalises from your data, not a mail-merge of one field. The opening line should name the right project, appointment or order, drawn from that contact's own row.
- It cannot cannibalise your inbound line. This is the failure nobody predicts: a campaign eats the minutes and occupies the lines that answer your customers, and you lose more than you gain. Naadham gives Outreach its own minute balance and its own dialling lines for exactly this reason.
- It records everything. Per contact: reached, no answer or failed, with transcript, QA score and recording. Without that you cannot tell a bad list from a bad script.
- It stops when told. Once, permanently, across every channel you use.
The rules that actually bind you
They differ by market, and getting them wrong is expensive. Calls run only inside lawful calling hours for the place you are calling. The AI discloses that it is an AI. You should be contacting people with whom your business already has a relationship. Opt-outs are honoured immediately and forever. Naadham enforces the hours, the disclosure and the opt-out at the platform level rather than leaving them to whoever writes the campaign.
Where it pays for itself
Recall and reactivation, mostly. A clinic calling six-month check-up lists. A property agency following up site-visit enquiries that went cold. A hotel filling a weekend. A salon rebooking clients who have not been in for three months. These are lists every business already has and almost nobody works, because working them by hand costs more than the revenue is worth — which is the exact shape of problem automation is for.
Running your first campaign
- Export the list with the columns that matter — name, phone, and whatever the script should reference.
- Write one script: why you are calling, what to ask, what to do if they say yes.
- Set the calling window and the language.
- Start it, then read the first ten transcripts before letting the rest run. This is the step that separates a campaign that works from one that burns a list.

Frequently asked questions
What is outreach automation?
Software that works a contact list for you — calling or messaging each person, holding the conversation you scripted, and reporting the outcome per contact. With an AI voice agent it is a real conversation rather than a recording.
Is AI outbound calling the same as a robocall?
No. A robocall plays a recording. An AI outreach call listens, answers questions from information you provided, captures the outcome, and leaves a transcript, QA score and recording.
Will outreach campaigns block my incoming calls?
Not in Naadham. Outreach has its own minute balance and its own dialling lines, so a campaign cannot spend the minutes or occupy the lines that answer inbound calls.
Do spam and robocalls use up my included minutes?
No. Naadham screens incoming calls: when the caller opens with an unmistakable robocall line — an automated menu, a prize claim, a warranty or pre-approved-loan pitch — the assistant ends the call and those minutes are not billed to you. The screening is deliberately reluctant, because hanging up on a real customer is far worse than paying for one spam minute: it never acts on silence, on a short reply, or on anything that sounds like a genuine enquiry, and it judges only the caller's first sentence. Every screened call is listed in your dashboard with its transcript so you can check the judgement.
Is automated outbound calling legal?
It is, within rules that vary by market: lawful calling hours, disclosure that the caller is an AI, an existing relationship with the person, and immediate permanent opt-out. Naadham enforces those at the platform level.
What should outreach automation cost?
Per connected minute, on top of a plan. Unanswered calls should not be charged. Naadham sells it as an add-on with its own minute pool so the cost is separate from your inbound receptionist.
